I am interested in the pathobiology of Tau in neurodegenerative diseases.  I study  the role of Rhes prenylation as a regulator of the mechanisms of Tau degradation via lysosomal activation and proteolysis, and its consequence in neurofibrillary tangles clearance in vitro and mice models. In addition, I explore the relationship of Tau genotype in the progression of disease using RNAseq from hIPSCs-derived neurons of frontotemporal dementia patients.
